The AP2A1 (adaptor- protein complex 2, alpha 1 subunit, AP-2, ADTAA, Alpha-adaptin A, AP2-ALPHA, AP-2 complex subunit alpha-1, CLAPA1, Clathrin assembly protein complex 2 alpha-A chain, Plasma adaptor HA2/AP2 adaptin alpha A subunit) is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.Associated membrane protein types are lipopolysaccharide selective barriers. Biological membranes include cell membranes, outer coverings of cells or organelles that allow passage of certain proteins and nuclear membranes, which cover a cell nucleus; and tissue membranes, such as mucosae and serosae.

Species Crossreactivity; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
