This kit is composed of the following reagents and consumables: buffer A for plant tissue homogenization and filter cartriges for homogenate filtration. Native plasma membranes can be isolated form the mixture of celll and organelles via differential centrifugation and density centrifugation. Following stricktly the procedures described in the manual, it could be obtained more consistent results with high degree of PM protein enrichment for less than an hour.

Associated membrane protein types are lipopolysaccharide selective barriers. Biological membranes include cell membranes, outer coverings of cells or organelles that allow passage of certain proteins and nuclear membranes, which cover a cell nucleus; and tissue membranes, such as mucosae and serosae.
