Specificity and cross-reactivity
Ureaplasma parvum multi-banded antigen (MBA) Reacts to Ureaplasma parvum. Reactive with the multi-banded antigen (MBA) of Ureaplasma serotypes 1, 3 and 8. Other serotypes have not been tested. There is no cross-reactivity with Mycoplasma hominis and Mycoplasma genitalium.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
