Description
Associated membrane protein types are lipopolysaccharide selective barriers. Biological membranes include cell membranes, outer coverings of cells or organelles that allow passage of certain proteins and nuclear membranes, which cover a cell nucleus; and tissue membranes, such as mucosae and serosae. ,Peptides short amino acid chains or epitopes or blocking antagonists. The shortest peptides are dipeptides, consisting of 2 amino acids joined by a single peptide bond, followed by tripeptides, tetra peptides, ... till polypeptides that are long, continuous, and unbranched synthetic peptide chains. These biological oligomers and polymers can be Solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), or in continue produced for custom peptide synthesis projects. The High-efficiency solid phase peptide synthesis (HE-SPPS) is give very low production costs.
Storage condition
store at -20°C; make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur of the material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.
Notes
Estimation of the ratio between antibodies and a peptide : In neutralisation assay use 3.41 µl of H+ATPase peptide for 10 ml of reaction volume. In case of any questions please contact [email protected]
Scientific context
This blocking peptide can be used as a control to neutralize anti-H+ATPase antibody before immunolocalization or a western blot. Furter details are provided below.
Supplementary information
This peptide can be used in Dot Blot but not on SDS-PAGE due to it´s molecular weight.
Test
You can block the antibody by the specific target amino acid sequence of peptide.
